My NLP Journey
I came across NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) over 15 years ago and read widely on the subject combining positive psychology, image coaching and professional development.
I undertook my NLP practitioner training in 2015 with a leading NLP training organisation and gained accreditation in 2018 after 20 days of formal training, individual and group practise and verification.
From my own training and supporting the training of others, I quickly recognised how it can make a profound change for the better in people’s lives.
I regularly attend CPD training, practise amongst fellow practitioners, supporting practitioner training sessions and I coach individuals, run company workshops and Autism awareness training courses.
I have invested in training with organisations that are of the highest standards from a training delivery and ethics perspective (INLPTA standards) and I am a practising professional member of ANLP International for my continuing professional development.
I am trained professional image coach, practise mindfulness and I also hold an accredited ANLP Applied Diploma in Autism Coaching in 2018, the first of its kind in the UK.
I bring all these threads into my own unique practice when coaching.
I am a member of a variety of organisations within the autistic community and I am a Board Member of 'Changing the Chemistry', a high profile Scottish third sector organisation that is changing the diversity on company boards. My key aim is put neurodiversity on the agenda of private and public sector boards so that neurodiverse individuals have the work environment that enables them to flourish.I
